How to go to Melmaruvathur by Train
Melmaruvathur Adi Parashakti Temple is world famous. The temple town has a railway station which lies on Chennai - Trichy/Madurai route.
Not all trains stop there. The main ones being Vaigai, Pallavan and other passenger and express trains.
The station is walkable from the temple. Once you comeout of the station take right and use the subway that goes under the National Highway. IT directly leads to the temple.
The best time to visit is on days other than tuesday and friday.
Take Pallavan express from Chennai .. you can reach there by 17:10 hrs. then have a good darshan and take the Guruvayur express 18:30 hrs from Melmaruvthur.. Om Shakti! Parashakti!
